Brian lives in Wichita, Kansas, and owns and operates an aircraft services and consulting company, Ad Astra Flight Group. He is also the director of aircraft management at Lone Mountain Aircraft.

2022: David Delker ('73, Electronic Engineering Techology)
David is a retired former associate dean and professor emeritus at K-State Salina. He lives in Salina, Kansas with his wife, Shawn.

2019: Kali Hague ('10, Professional Pilot)
Kali lives in Washington, D.C., as an attorney at Jetlaw, LLC, where she advises clients throught the country and internationally on all aspects of business aviation and airport law. She is also an active commercial pilot, flight instructor and annually competes in the Women's Air Race Classic.

2018: Robert Wood ('80, Data Processing Technology)
Robert lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is currently the chief operating officer at Hearts for Hearing Foundation, a non-profit foundation dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and adults with hearing loss.

2017: Andrew Talbott ('05, Airway Science)
Andrew is based in Hanford, California, where he is a strike fighter pilot for the U.S. Navy and a former member of the Blue Angels.

2016: Kate Fraser(’09, Professional Pilot)
Kate lives in Washington, D.C., where she is an operations research analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Office of Accident Investigation and Prevention. She is also a commercial pilot and certified flight instructor.

2015: Beverly Gatton(’86, Computer Engineering Technology)
Beverly is an information technology project manager for Fidelity Information Services in Lenexa, Kansas, where she oversees banking software implementation projects across the United States. She lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with her husband, also an Alumni Fellow, Lee.

2014: Weston Thompson(’04, '06, Professional Pilot/Aviation Maintenance)
Weston lives in Scott City, Kansas where he is the co-owner of Scott City Aviation. He is also a flight instructor, pilot and mechanic.

2013: Joshua Brungardt (’02, Professional Pilot)
Josh is the director of unmanned systems at n-Link in Bend, Ore., where he lives with his wife, Emily, and their children.

2012: Lee Gatton (’71, Electronic Engineering Technology)
Lee is a research engineer at GRD Robotics in Overland Park, where he lives with is wife, Beverly.

2011: Dennis Shreves (’72, Civil Engineering Technology)
Dennis is retired from his position as civil engineer with the Black Hills National Forest and lives with his wife, Sue, in South Dakota.

2010: Alan Cordel (’77, Aviation)
Alan is a chief pilot for Kansas City Life Insurance Corp. and lives with his wife, Loleeta, in Shawnee, Kansas.

2009: Bob Kuhn (’72, Civil Engineering Technology)
Bob works for Ark Wrecking Company of Oklahoma and lives with his wife, Linda, in Broken Arrow.

2008: Bob Moeder (’71, Computer System Technology)
Bob is retired from serving as the central division president for Kroger and lives in Indiana.

2007: Jennifer Johnson (’83, Data Processing)
Jennifer is the executive vice president/chief operations officer/chief information officer for Equity Bank in Wichita. Jennifer lives in Salina with her family.

2006: Terry Krause (’86, ’01, Computer Engineering Technology/Technology Management)
Terry is a nuclear quality manager for Burns & McDonnell. Terry lives in Leawood, Kansas.

2005: Justin “Reggie” Redetzke (’96, Professional Pilot)
Reggie is First Officer for Emirates Airlines and he lives in Dubai.

2004: Rex Eberly (’83, ’84, Civil Engineering Technology)
Rex is the director of sales in the contractor business unit at Bergkamp Inc. in Salina, Kansas. He currently resides in Ohio.

2003: Roger Fortmeyer (’74, Electronic Engineering Technology)
Roger is retired from ABB TotalFlow. He lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

2002: Mel Kejr (’79, Mechanical Engineering Technology)
Mel is the founder and president of Kejr, Inc. in Salina. Kejr Inc. sells products around the world under the brand names of Geoprobe and Veris Technologies.

2001: Julie Martin Maher (’84, Data Processing)
Julie is the business operation manager for Hewlett Packard. Julie and her family live in Plano, Texas.

2000: Doug Oliphant (’83, ’90, Electronic Engineering Technology)
Doug is the vice president of engineering for KASA Industrial Controls in Salina.

1999: Shah Bhatti (’82, Computer Engineering Technology)
Shah was an engineer for Hewlett Packard and Samsung before teaching at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan. He currently lives in Lyons, Colorado.

1998: Jay Parker (’82, Aviation)
Jay is a consultant for CAVOK International and lives in Denton, Texas.

1997: T A Mindrup (’69, ’73, Electronic Engineering Technology)
T A lived in Lawrence and was retired from Westar Energy when he passed away.

1996: Russell Savage (’68, Civil Engineering Technology)
Russell is a manager and does research and analysis at InfoNetrix. He resides in Tampa, Florida.

1995: Melvin Bergkamp (’70, Mechanical Engineering Technology)
Melvin is the owner of Bergkamp Inc. in Salina.

1994: Bill Ballou (’69, Civil Engineering Technology)
Bill is retired from Koch Materials in Salina and formally served on the Dean’s Advisory Council.

1993: Robert Miller (’68, Civil Engineering Technology)
Robert was retired from Black and Veatch in Kansas City, Missouri, and was one of the first 10 graduates of the campus in 1968. He passed away in the summer of 2015.

What happens to my K-State email account?

You can keep your K-State eID as long as you turn on e-mail forwarding through eProfile. However, if you didn't have e-mail forwarding turned on and you haven't used your eID for five years - meaning you haven't signed into eProfile or changed your password for five years - then your eID was released and became available for someone else to choose.

While you can keep your eID, you will lose access to most K-State resources after you leave. For detailed information about what happens when you leave K-State and what you should do before you leave, see Preparing to Leave K-State. Once you are no longer enrolled at, employed by, or associated with K-State, you will be notified via your K-State e-mail address that access to your K-State e-mail and other resources is going to be removed. You then have about two weeks to make any copies needed. Once your access has been removed, there is a $50 fee for one week of access to copy any data you forgot. Contact the IT Help Desk to request access to your data. After you've been gone from K-State for 180 days, all files and e-mail associated with your eID are destroyed and removed from the central backup systems. How do I make sure my diploma gets to me?

Make sure your correct diploma mailing address is entered for Degree/Diploma in your KSIS student center. This is essential for ensuring timely receipt of your diploma, particularly if you will be moving following graduation.

Not sure where you will be after graduation? Ask your parents, grandparents, or a friend if you can have your diploma sent to them.

When will I get my diploma?

Upon confirmation of degree requirements and clearance of all financial delinquencies, diplomas for spring graduates should be mailed by the end of August. Diplomas for summer graduates should be mailed by the end of November.

How do I get my transcript?

In order to obtain official copies of transcripts, all financial obligations to Kansas State University Salina, including traffic and library fines, must be cleared. Transcript requests must be in writing. Learn more about ordering transcripts. Contact the Registrar’s Office for assistance at 785-826-2607. Note: Degrees earned for spring graduates will be available until after graduation. Please contact the registrar for specific information.

What if I plan to keep taking classes?

If you plan to continue taking undergraduate course work after graduation, you must apply for readmission to the university prior to enrollment here. PLEASE NOTE: You may not re-enter the same degree program in which you have already earned a K-State degree. Allow five working days to process your application. Contact the Office of Admissions, 119 Anderson Hall, 785-532-6250.

If you plan to take courses for graduate credit, contact the Graduate School, 103 Fairchild Hall, 785-532-6191.
