First Year Residency Policy
Incoming, full-time, degree-seeking, first-year undergraduate students starting in fall 2023 are required to live on campus in one of our residence halls for their first two semesters of enrollment.
Value of first year residency:
Students who live on-campus are more likely to feel connected and be successful in earning their degree. There are many benefits to living on campus, such as quality resources, no commute, free laundry, 24/7 security and consolidated living expenses. We've seen the relationships built while living in our residence halls turn into lifelong friendships. Often, students who start their college journey living off-campus experience a disconnect from the campus community, including enriching activities, events, and student clubs and organizations.
