You will focus on technical graphics with computer-aided drafting, material strength and testing, computer numerical control, economics, quality control and machine design.
Why our program?
In an industry that relies on you for solutions, mechanical engineering technology students must have the opportunity to test theories and experiment on ideas. Our program is built around a project-based education model, allowing students the opportunity to build communication and project management skills while bringing their ideas to life.
Program Details
Your plans become reality in our design and build laboratory. Mechanical engineering students learn in 5,000-square feet of creative space where concepts are designed, prototyped and tested. Students have access to modern technology and equipment, such as 3D printers, a CNC vertical machining center, a laser printer and more.
My K-State Story
