Introduction to Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Technology Undergraduate Certificate

Want to learn the basics of uncrewed aircraft system, or UAS, technology? K-State Salina's premier UAS program has the knowlege and instruction to help you on your next steps in your UAS journey!

Why our program?

This certificate will teach the basics in UAS technology, design and fundamentals. After completion, students will be able to expand their education or add UAS knowlege to their skillset. K-State Salina's industry-experienced professors will use hands-on teaching to help students learn.

Program details

Students in the Introduction to UAS Technology certificate can expect training in the basics of a UAS, important safety fundamentals and the maintenance, design and construction of a UAS. There will also be a hands-on education opportunity for students with a multi-rotor flight lab. Once completed, this certificate can be used in one of K-State Salina's UAS Bachelor's degrees: flight and operations or design and integration.
