Dr. Alysia Starkey

Dr. Alysia Starkey is the CEO and Dean of the Kansas State University Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus. Starkey has been an integral leader on the Salina Campus since 2002 and has in-depth experience in the leadership, management and support needs of all aspects of campus, including student success, academic programs, faculty and budgetary matters. She served as associate dean of academics before being appointed as the CEO and Dean in 2018.

Starkey has led the campus through a transformative process, leveraging partnerships across the state and country to expand the campus’s reach while focusing on its niche mission of serving the aerospace and technology industries. She is also dedicated to preserving the campus’s commitment to hands-on and real-world education that prepares students to be career ready. She has been instrumental in spearheading the efforts to raise hundreds of millions in federal, state, and private contributions to the campus.
