Girls in Aviation Day
The Kansas State University Aerospace and Technology Campus Chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI) will be hosting its seventh-annual Girls in Aviation Day - a free program for youth ages 8 to 18, designed to introduce the possibilities available with a career in aviation.

No cost to attend!
Registration is closed.
Youth ages 8 to 18 are invited to this day along with their parents. If you attended this in the past, wear your Girls in Aviation Day shirt!
During the event:
- Connect with others who are excited about aviation
- Explore the opportunities for work and play in aviation and aerospace
- Meet women in various fields of aviation
- Experience exciting hands-on activities such as flight simulators and much more
Schedule of events:
9:30 a.m. | Check-in
10 a.m. | Welcome
10:15 a.m. | Aviation workshops
12:20 p.m. | Lunch
12:40 p.m. | Build your own airport activity
1:40 p.m. | Closing announcements
Lunch will be served. All guests will receive a drawstring bag with Girls in Aviation Day memorabilia and a Girls in Aviation Day t-shirt!
Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their stay at the Aviation Center.
