K-State Salina Competitive Scholarships

Please review the scholarships below to help determine your eligibility for individual awards. Many awards require only the successful submission of the combined application for admission and scholarships by the Dec. 1 priority date for full consideration, though some do require additional supplemental information and/or interviews. Additionally, please make sure you're aware of the general freshman scholarship renewal requirements that apply to all renewable awards.

Please note that meeting the eligibility requirements for a scholarship does not guarantee an award, as all award amounts and criteria are pending availability of funds and are subject to change.

Vanier Family Presidential Scholarship

Total Value:

$80,000

Freshman Year Award:

$20,000

Renewable:

  • Renewable up to three additional years (four years, total) at $20,000 per year with a K-State GPA of 3.5 or above and full-time enrollment at K-State Salina

Recipients must be incoming undergraduate students, enrolled full-time at K-State Salina.

Recipients must have a minimum score of 32 on the ACT and a 3.85 or higher GPA.

Vanier Family Bluemont Scholarship

$40,000

Freshman Year Award:

$10,000

Renewable:

  • Renewable up to three additional years (four years, total) at $10,000 per year with a K-State GPA of 3.5 or above and full-time enrollment at K-State Salina

Recipients must be incoming undergraduate students, enrolled full-time at K-State Salina.

Recipients must have a minimum score of 32 on the ACT or have a 3.8 or higher GPA or rank in the top 10 percent of their graduating class.

Vanier Family Leadership Scholarship

$20,000

Freshman Year Award:

$5,000

Renewable:

  • Renewable up to three additional years (four years, total) at $5,000 per year with a K-State GPA of 3.5 or above and full-time enrollment at K-State Salina

Recipients must be incoming undergraduate students, enrolled full-time at K-State Salina.

Recipients must have a minimum score of 26 on the ACT, a 3.8 or higher GPA, and must have demonstrated strong leadership in school and/or community involvement.

Marian W. "Dolly" Hardman Endowment

Total Value:

$20-32,000

Freshman Year Award:

$5-8,000

Renewable:

  • Renewable up to three additional years (four years, total) at $5-8,000 per year with a K-State GPA of 3.5 or above and full-time enrollment at K-State Salina
 Recipients must be female undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the professional pilot degree option at K-State Salina.
