To early apply you must:

Apply and be admitted to K-State Salina in one of the following programs:

Have a high school or college GPA of 2.8 or greater.

Submit separate early application that includes:

  • Personal Statement: This statement should explain why you feel you can be successful at Kansas State University Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus. You must address past academic performance, as well as express a thoughtful plan regarding future academic achievement, personal growth. Students should also include any other information they feel is relevant. The recommended length is 5-6 paragraphs or 1-2 pages. File types accepted are: DOC, DOCX, and PDF.
  • Academic Reference: You will be asked for the name, job title, email, and phone number of an academic reference. We recommend informing the person you list prior to completing the form and following up to confirm they submitted their reference. The high school official you list on your form will be sent a link to provide a reference addressing the following:
    1. Your preparedness for college-level academics at a four-year institution.
    2. Your attitude toward academics and willingness to utilize available resources.
    3. Your likelihood of succeeding at Kansas State University while working for Great Plains Manufacturing.

The reference will be sent directly to our office.
