UAS Law Enforcement Training
Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Law Enforcement Training
Developed with input from local and county law enforcement officials, this customized program will result in attendees acquiring the skills necessary to operate UAS for law enforcement purposes. Utilizing K-State's industry-leading technology, including FLIR and optical zoom sensors, pilots will learn the best ways to incorporate UAS into their law enforcement agencies. Simulated scenarios and flight training will take place at Crisis City Training Center.
What to Expect
During this course, pilots will receive extensive hands-on flight training. You can sign up for one of our core module dates or request customized training for your organization. Descriptions of the module options are below. Attendees are strongly encouraged to have a Remote Pilot Certificate or be enrolled in the sUAS Commercial Remote Pilot Training. If you are considering this training without being certified, please contact us for training options. All courses are held in Salina, Kansas unless otherwise noted. Registration is required a minimum of one week before the course start date.
