Aviation Fixation
Calling all future aviators! Learn about the basics of flight, anatomy of an aircraft and fly state-of-the-art flight simulators to expand your knowledge of aviation. Hosted by the K-State Salina Flight Team, this summer program is the best way to get your aviation fix this summer!
Program highlights include:
- Practice flying in a simulator
- Learn flight theory basics and aircraft anatomy
- Sit at the controls of a plane in the K-State Salina aircraft fleet
- Paper airplane contest
Registration Information
Program is limited to 20 participants.
Date: June 4-6, 2024
Time: 7:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. daily
Grade: Students in 3rd-5th grade
Cost: $125
Registration includes all program supplies and program instruction, t-shirt, pilot wings, and a daily snack.

Summer Program Cancellation Policy
In the event the minimum number of registrations are not met, three (3) weeks from the start date of the program, the program will be cancelled and all payments will be refunded immediately.
Refund Policy
Full refunds will be issued to those canceling registration up to eight (8) weeks from the start date of the summer program. Fifty (50) percent refunds will be issued to those canceling registration between eight (8) weeks and five (5) weeks from the start date of the summer program. No refunds issued after five (5) weeks from the start date of the summer program.
